Account Executive (Robotics Integration)

At ATAN Robotics, we design and integrate robotic systems for manufacturers that need fast ROI, high-mix flexibility, and turnkey deployment.
Traditional automation projects are often slow, rigid, and require massive production volumes to justify the investment. We believe robotics should work for modern manufacturers who run high-mix jobs, smaller batches, and constantly changing production needs.
Our systems automate tasks like:
- CNC machine tending
- Palletizing and material handling
- Robotic welding
- Production QA and inspection
We focus on fast deployment, practical engineering, and measurable ROI — helping machine shops and manufacturers increase throughput while reducing labor bottlenecks.
We’re a small team of senior engineers who span mechanical, electrical, robotics, and software engineering, allowing us to design highly capable systems without the bureaucracy of large integrators.
Now we’re looking for a consultative Account Executive to help us grow.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical, value-driven sales where understanding a manufacturer’s workflow and identifying automation opportunities matters far more than hard pitching.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads from manufacturers interested in robotics automation.
- Run discovery calls to deeply understand a prospect’s production processes, bottlenecks, and labor challenges.
- Identify automation opportunities and guide prospects through our consultative sales process.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to shape automation proposals and communicate capabilities clearly.
- Manage our CRM (HubSpot) to track deals and keep follow-ups organized.
- Follow up persistently and thoughtfully to build long-term relationships with manufacturing clients.
- Help refine our messaging, case studies, and sales materials over time.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, solutions consulting, or account management
- Experience selling technical services, engineering projects, industrial equipment, or automation
- Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and self-direction — you will manage your own sales pipeline
- Available during Eastern Time business hours
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to manufacturers, machine shops, or industrial companies
- Familiarity with robotics, automation, CNC machining, or manufacturing workflows
- Experience with consultative sales frameworks (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.)
- Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Notion, or similar CRM systems
